My 19th and last trainingcamp in Flagstaff ?
It's really nice to be here again. Everything is the same like before and that's the clue. I really enjoy being here. In Flagstaff I can relax, recover and train well. The next weeks I will train just as much as at home. The big difference is that I have two weeks vacation from work and therefore I am not workling as much as at home.
Sleeping nine hours every day, maybe even take a nap in the afternoon, will improve my recovery and I'll feel fresh.
It's again a nice place to be for a race walker. We have sun, blue sky and between 10-16 degrees C during the day. At night it's colder and we sleep well.
Other walkers in Flagstaff are:
Erik Tysse NOR
Tim Seaman USA
Travor Barron USA
Susana Feitor POR
Ines Henriques POR
Sabine Krantz(nee Zimmer) GER
Rachel Lavallee CAN
Lauren Forgues USA
and coaches:
Stephan Plätzer NOR
Heiko Schulze GER
Jorge Miguel POR
After the IAAF Challenge in Chihuahua/MEX on the 14th and 15th of March the Australian Team will join us in Flasgtaff, too.
