Warm weather and good training
The travel back from Chihuahua went fine. We were back in Flagstaff in time to be able to train in daylight. Erik and I ran 10km together with Stephan. After that we went to Outback to eat steak, we thought we deserved that after the race in Mexico!
This last week in Flagstaff we have had really nice and warm weather. Between 15 and 20 degrees C every day. That is good at an altitude of 2100m. I have recovered well and trained good these last days also. Most of my training has been easy long distance, but on Wednesday I walked a fartlek and that went fine, too.
I am really happy that I have been able to train together with Tim Seaman, Trevor Barron, Susana Feitor and Sabine Krantz (nee. Zimmer) from time to time. That's the nice thing about being together with other athletes in training camps. When it fits, we train together and when not, we support each other.
Now it's time to start packing and get ready to go back home.
Tomorrow morning we will have an easy training before breakfast and then we drive to Phoenix to fly back home via Chicago and Copenhagen. When everything goes like planned we will be back home in Søfteland late Sunday afternoon.
Good bye Arizona!!!
