Today I had a nice surprise in my mailbox! A 10 year old race walking girl, named Margalida, send me two pictures! She send me a few lines in perfect English from her home (?) on the Balear island of Mallorca. I met her after my race on Ibiza, gave her my autograph and we made some pictures. I really appreciate this! Thank you so much Margalida :-) In Spain they still do a very good job for kids who like to race walk. And it is also fun for us elite walkers to be among these young talents. Keep on the good work and keep on walking.
