I was very happy to be nominated for this price. Now I am also happy to be runner up behind my friend Irina Mikitenko. Congratulations, Irina! You deserve it. I know Irina many many years and we have been together to quite a few training camps at altitude. Irina and her husband/coach Alexander joined us in Flagstaff and have been with us in St. Moritz many times. In St. Moritz we always stay in the same house. And Irina's youngest kid Vanessa is the same age like our son Sebastian :-) Those two love to play together in St. Moritz every summer.
