The first
days after we came back
home from St. Moritz
we didn't have the best
weather to prepare for
the Europeans. We had
rain and maybe 15°c,
we started talking about
going to Germany to
train there instead,
but then the weather
changed. For almost
two weeks we have had
nice, warm and sunny
weather. Between 20°c
and 30°c, just perfect!
After
altitude I always feel
good for 3-5 days, then
I have some heavy days
before I start to feel
better again. This time
it was not different.
Both Erik and I have
been able to do some
good workouts and now
it's not long before
the Europeans, but before
that we have our National
Championships in Athletics.
This weekend they will
be held in Oslo at the
famous Bisslet Stadium,
known for good results
and many world records.
Race walking is on the
program for Saturday
and we will walk 3.000m
and the men 5.000m.
I look forward to compete
again, but this race
will only be a step
on the way to Gothenburg.
