This weekend
we had our National
Championships in Athletics
at the famous Bislett
Stadium. For our club,
Norna Salhus, and for
race walking in general
it was important that
we competed there, all
though it didn't fit
100% in our preparation
for the Europeans. It
was nice to be together
and meet the athletics
family again.
My 3.000m
race went good and I
was happy with 12.23,58.
I must say that it was
much harder to walk
the 3.000m in 14.31
last year :-) Erik did
a good 5.000m in 18.55,
for the second time
ever he walked under
19 minutes on the track.
No other Norwegian walker
has ever walked under
19 minutes on track.
We only
have this week of training
at home before we go
to Gothenburg on Sunday!
