in by the Norwegian
Tysse family. Erik Tysse
and his sister, Kjersti
Plätzer-Tysse,
won in Turku and Karków
respectively, with Erik
finishing the 20km event
in 1:20:56 (1208 points)
and Kjersti claiming
her 10km event in Poland
in 42:48 (1229 points).
It is the first time
in the history of the
IAAF World Rankings
that brother and sister
become top performers
of the month at the
